Aly Spengler is a Philadelphia-based Director of Photography, Cinematographer, and Camera Stabilization Specialist. With 13+ years of on-set experience, they've evolved in their levels of expertise through various areas of production, acting not only as a DP, but as gimbal operator and stabilization tech, studio manager, production consultant, and post-production colorist. Through it all, their passion and love remain rooted in the camera department.

They have shot national brand campaigns and been invited to destinations around the world to document life-changing humanitarian efforts and capture radical demonstrations regarding injustices. Some of Aly's notable commercial clientele have been with Yamaha, Nike, Red Bull, BMW, META, Hendrick's Gin and Absolut. Their feature documentary work has premiered at TIFF, CIFF, and Tribeca film festivals and can be found on Hulu, HBO Max, and Amazon Prime streaming services.

Aly is a non-binary LGBTIQA+ filmmaker and community advocate whose aim is to bring other traditionally marginalized voices, filmmakers, and creative individuals to the forefront - whether it be on set and throughout production, or in front of the camera telling their story.
